Cougars and friends Welcome


Welcome to the Bryan Adams Green Machine web page.  Our site is designed to enhance and support the Cross Country and Track programs here at the big BA.  The site will improve communication with parents and friends involved with athletics at BA. It will serve to promote running as a life time sport as well as teaching runners how to become involved in positive activities that help increase self-esteem and wellness.

Participate in varsity athletics

Looking for runners!!!!  The BA Cross Country and Track teams are  looking for students interested in participating in varsity sports.  If you are just interested in running to stay in shape you can become a member of the Green Machine running club.  You can become a member of the most exciting sport on campus by contacting Coach Smith or any Coach on campus and they will lead you in the right direction.  The Track Coaches are Coach Wilson, Coach Clay, Coach Keys, and anchored by former Olympic and World qualifying hurdler Sherlese Taylor.

Green Machine Boys take Second and Girls place Fourth at 11-5A Championships

The Green Machine Boys took  second place at the District 11-5A Championships.  The Varsity team included 5 juniors lead by Sean McCormick, Mauricio Hernandez, Roy Williams, Kadeem Long, and Avion Stewart.  The Varsity team was infused with new talent from freshman phenoms Johnny Rangel and Fernando Rodriguez who both placed in the top ten.  The girls team finished fourth place barley missing a trip to regionals.  The girls were lead by Mary McCormick as she qualified for regional competition placing ninth overall.  The rest of the team included Keandr Bryant, Stephanie Ramirez, Shay and Ravene Hardin, and helped by soccer players Katy Deluna and

BA TRACK & FIELD NEWS

Rocky Frank won six straight weeks of the 100 meter dash on his way to the Texas Relays where he continued his unbeaten streak but was unable to qualify for the finals.  Rocky made it the the Region II 5-A meet in Waco in the 200 meter dash.  Salud Sierra and Sean McCormick (freshman) qualified for the regional meet in the 3200m and 1600m runs.
